About AlwaysOnTop
AlwaysOnTop keeps one window above all the others. You open a popup with a keyboard shortcut, pick the app whose window should stay on top, and press the shortcut again to unpin it. It lives in the menu bar, and you can have it launch at login and restore the last pinned app. Appearance can follow light or dark mode, with a choice of accent colours.
It requires macOS 13.0 or later and Accessibility permission for window management. The DMG is not notarized. The README tells users to clear the quarantine flag with xattr or to choose Open Anyway in System Settings, so the first launch has to be allowed there. The last release, v1.0.0, dates from May 2025.
