About Arroxy
Arroxy is a desktop front end for yt-dlp, which it downloads on first launch together with ffmpeg and keeps up to date. Paste a link, or browse YouTube and other supported sites in its Explore tab and queue the page you are on; it saves single videos, playlists, channels, audio-only files, subtitles and selected time ranges, with reusable download profiles and a global hotkey for copied links.
Signing in to a site inside the built-in browser lets it fetch videos your account can already watch without exporting cookies, though the project warns this can put the account at risk. It is an Electron app for macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon and Intel, also available for Windows and Linux. The Mac builds are not notarized, so the first launch has to be allowed manually.
