About Ghbdtn
Ghbdtn sits in the menu bar and fixes text typed with the wrong keyboard layout. You type the words, press ⌥⌘, and the text is rewritten in the other layout while the input source switches to match. The key map comes from the layouts enabled in macOS, so the ones you already use are the ones it converts. The author describes it as a free, open-source alternative to Punto Switcher for people who switch between Latin and Cyrillic layouts.
Requires macOS 13 or later, one Latin and one Cyrillic layout enabled, and Accessibility permission, which the app needs to watch the shortcut and send ⌘C and ⌘V. The release is not notarized, so the first launch is blocked until you choose Open Anyway under Privacy & Security.
