About Kopi

Kopi keeps a history of what you copy on macOS and Windows, including text, links, images, files, colors and code, and tags each entry with the app it came from. You search as you type, paste with the keyboard, pin the clips you reuse and write snippets for text you paste often. It suits people who copy passwords, addresses and drafts all day and want that history kept on their own machine rather than in a cloud service. The source is on GitHub under the MIT license.

It requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. Kopi is in alpha on both macOS and Windows, so expect rough edges. The macOS build is not notarized: on macOS 15 and later, approve it once under System Settings, Privacy & Security with Open Anyway; on macOS 14, Control-click the app in Applications and choose Open. Sync between your machines is off until you turn it on.
