About LidAngleSensor
LidAngleSensor is a small, playful utility that talks to the hinge sensor Apple has built into recent MacBooks and shows the current lid angle as you move the screen. If you start its audio, it plays a wooden door creak when you open or close the lid very slowly.
The sensor first appeared in the 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro. The author has only tested on an M4 MacBook Pro, and users report that it does not work on the M1 MacBook Air or on M1 and M2 MacBook Pro models with a Touch Bar. The release is a notarized universal build for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
