About MDViewer
MDViewer opens Markdown files for reading and review. It reloads a document when it changes on disk, which suits the plans and reports that coding agents keep rewriting. It renders diagrams and math, previews files in Finder through Quick Look, and can summarise a long document when you ask. It is aimed at people who read Markdown rather than edit it; the project points editing users to other tools.
Requires macOS 13 or later. Current releases are signed and notarized, so they open without an Open Anyway step. AI summaries are optional: keys you enter are kept in the macOS keychain, and a document goes to your chosen provider only when you ask. The project says there are no accounts and no tracking.
