About Neovide
Neovide puts Neovim in its own Mac window. Editing behaves the same as in the terminal, and your existing configuration and plugins keep working, but the window adds graphical touches a terminal cannot: smooth scrolling, an animated cursor, animated window movement, font ligatures and blurred floating windows.
It is a client only, so Neovim itself must be installed separately; current releases need Neovim 0.12 or newer on your PATH. Separate DMGs are published for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Neovide can also attach to a Neovim instance running on another machine.
