About NetworkMonitor
NetworkMonitor shows download and upload speed in the menu bar and ranks apps by the data they used on the current connection. Its Connections view lists the servers and companies each app talks to, and it can block any of them. An ad, tracker and malware blocklist can be applied to every app with one switch. It is for people who want to see where their Mac's traffic goes and stop it from a menu bar app.
It needs macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. The README says the release DMG is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. The app makes its own requests to GitHub for country and network data, the blocklists and update checks; each can be switched off. Updating from version 1.13 or earlier makes macOS ask for Location once more.
