About Packet Sender
Packet Sender is a network testing tool for sending hand-built messages to a device or service and watching what comes back. You enter a destination, port, protocol and payload in ASCII or hex, save the packet for reuse, and send it once or on a repeating timer. The app also listens on its own TCP, UDP and SSL ports and logs everything it receives, with optional automatic replies to matching messages.
Other tools in the same window cover HTTP and HTTPS requests, a high-rate UDP traffic generator, an IPv4 subnet calculator, Wake-on-LAN packets and a panel generator for building simple button interfaces around saved packets. Saved packet sets can be shared through the optional Packet Sender Cloud service, and a command-line interface is available for scripting.
