About Slapss
Slapss watches your calendar and, when a meeting is about to start, covers the screen with an alert and a button that opens the call. It recognizes Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and similar links, and it shows the next meeting with a countdown in the menu bar. You can skip alerts for meetings such as lunch or ones you have not accepted, and it can show Reminders in the same full-screen form. Calendars are read on the Mac; Microsoft 365 uses a read-only sign-in kept in the keychain. It is for people who miss meetings because a normal notification goes unseen.
Requires macOS 15 or later. The README names the Mac App Store and the theshiver Homebrew cask as the only official builds, so this entry links the App Store, even though a ZIP is also attached to the GitHub releases. The app is free, with no subscription, in-app purchase, account, analytics or crash reporting.
