About Wortuhr
Wortuhr shows the time in words on an 11 by 10 letter grid, with a small bar in one cell for the minutes between five-minute steps. On the Mac it runs as a screen saver, and you can change colors, typeface, size, burn-in protection and whether it uses the main display only. It suits people who want a quiet decorative clock on a screen. The project also offers an iPhone, iPad and Mac app with widgets.
Requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon or Intel; the README says it was tested on macOS 27. The screen saver is signed with a Developer ID and notarized, according to the README. The README describes the project as free, with no ads and no data collection.
