About BendMac
BendMac is a playful menu bar app that makes the desktop react as the lid moves. When you close a MacBook, the wallpaper and windows bend and blur with the lid angle, inspired by Bendy and the iPhone fold animation. It is aimed at people who want a decorative effect on their laptop.
It requires macOS 14 or later and a MacBook with a lid-angle sensor; the build is universal. Automatic lid tracking does not work on the 2020 M1 MacBook Air or the 13-inch M1 and M2 MacBook Pro, so on those models you set the desktop angle by hand. BendMac is not notarized, so approve it in Privacy & Security the first time you open it.
