About Compositor
Compositor is an image editor for compositing and post-processing. It works with layers and folders that have blend modes, layer and clipping masks, adjustment and filter layers, selections, painting tools, a Camera Raw filter and text. It imports JPEG, PNG, RAW, SVG, PDF, and Photoshop PSD and PSB files (8-bit RGB), and exports PNG, JPEG, PDF and animated GIF. The author built it for people who used Photoshop for compositing and want a free editor whose source they can change.
Requires macOS 26 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. The interface is English only. The README says releases are signed and notarized. The project is maintained by one person, who is not accepting translation pull requests.
