About Kaskas
Kaskas is a menu bar break reminder and focus tracker. It shows short eye-rest reminders on screen or beside the cursor and schedules full-screen breaks with snooze, skip and lock-screen controls. Breaks can wait while you type, sit in a meeting or watch a video in a supported browser. It also records focus time and app use, with daily statistics by app and category, within the working days and hours you set. It is for students and desk workers who want break reminders without an account.
It requires macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon and Intel; the build is signed and notarized. The app is sandboxed and keeps its data on the Mac. Meeting protection only checks whether the microphone or camera is in use and never records either. The interface is available in English and Turkish.
