KiwiDesk is a tiling window manager for macOS. It tiles open windows as soon as it starts, without a configuration file. For more control it offers Lua scripting, profiles, advanced layouts and per-space rules, plus a command-line tool and an event stream. It is for people who want automatic tiling on a Mac and do not want to write a config before they can move a window.
KiwiDesk needs macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon, plus Accessibility permission. The release is signed and notarized, and it checks for updates itself. The README says it uses some private Apple APIs, each with a public fallback, and that a few features switch themselves off after a macOS update. The license is source-available rather than open source.
