About Lilo
Lilo is a Mac browser that keeps Arc's sidebar layout: Spaces with their own profiles, pinned tabs, folders and split view. It runs on WebKit, the engine that ships with macOS, rather than Chromium, and it still installs Chrome Web Store extensions. Terminal tabs sit beside your web pages. A built-in MCP server lets AI agents such as Claude Code or Codex use the browser in their own Space, and the app asks you before an agent sends, pays, deletes or publishes something.
Lilo requires macOS 26 or later and is in public beta, so expect rough edges. The README says it has no account, no telemetry and no analytics. Arc shuts down on December 22, 2026, and Lilo can import your Arc Spaces, tabs and folders directly from the Mac.
