Mindwtr

Mindwtr is a task manager built around David Allen's Getting Things Done method. Everything you capture lands in an inbox, and the app walks you through deciding what each item is: a next action, a project with several steps, something you are waiting on from someone else, or an idea for someday. A Focus view lists today's schedule and next actions, contexts filter tasks by where you are or what tools you have, and a guided weekly review checks projects and loose ends.

Tasks are stored locally and the app works offline with no account. Sync between the desktop and mobile apps is optional and uses a backend you choose: iCloud, Dropbox, a shared folder, WebDAV or a self-hosted server. Calendar planning, recurring tasks, notes and attachments are included, tasks can be imported from Todoist, TickTick, OmniFocus and others, and an AI helper is available but off by default.

On the Mac, the project recommends the free Mac App Store build; DMGs for Apple silicon and Intel are also published on GitHub Releases.
