About Pagekin
Pagekin (formerly AI Novel Writer) organises a novel-length project as a sequence of stages: premise, characters, world-building, chapter blueprints, drafts, review, revision and final text. Rather than pasting a whole manuscript into a chat, it assembles context for each chapter from the relevant blueprint, character records, setting notes and summaries, and keeps draft versions so generated text can be compared and revised.
It does not provide a model of its own; you connect local or hosted language models, and project files stay on your computer. The interface is available in Chinese and English, though much of the built-in workflow is tuned for Chinese long-form fiction. Releases are labelled previews and include separate Apple silicon and Intel disk images for macOS. A separately licensed plugin in the same repository is not part of the desktop app.
