About Perch
Perch is a shelf for files you are moving. Drop files on it to hold them while you go to another window or app, then drag them back out. Recent release notes mention Quick Look and Share from the shelf, and tucking the shelf away at a screen edge. It suits people who often move files between windows or apps.
It needs macOS 14 or newer. The 1.7.4 release is signed with a Developer ID and notarized, so it opens without a Gatekeeper workaround. The README is short and does not describe settings or data handling, so check those in the app before relying on it.
