About SATF
SATF is a drag-and-drop file converter for macOS and Windows. Drag a file, shake it or press a shortcut, and a radial menu opens under the cursor with conversion formats, quick edits such as rotate, resize and compress, a copy action and a shelf for later. It converts images, PDFs, Office documents, video and audio, merges several files into one PDF, and extracts archives. Conversions run on your computer, and optional add-ons such as LibreOffice, and FFmpeg on Windows, download only when you ask for them.
It requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon or Intel. The macOS app is signed and notarized by Apple. The app checks GitHub for updates at launch and once a day, and you can turn that off. Some Word and Excel conversions need Microsoft Office or the Office add-on. The Windows installer is not code-signed, so SmartScreen asks once.
