About Profiley
Links from chat and other apps open in whichever browser profile is in front, which is often the wrong one. Profiley registers as the default browser and passes each link to a profile of Comet, Chrome, Brave, Edge or Vivaldi. Sites you save open straight in their profile, and subdomains are included; any other link shows a picker. Holding Shift or Option forces the picker, and a small window lists the saved sites so you can change or remove them. It is for people who keep work and personal profiles in one browser and want links to land in the right one.
Requires macOS 12 or later. The app is not notarized, so the first launch needs approval under System Settings > Privacy & Security, where you choose Open Anyway. Saved sites match by domain only, not by words in the path, and only one browser can be used at a time. Comet's avatars come from resource IDs that a Comet update can move, in which case the picker shows coloured circles instead.
