About Segue
Segue plays a playlist of audio for live radio, podcasts and event output. Each track can crossfade into the next, have In and Out points trimmed in a waveform editor, and carry a cue point with a countdown. Pauses can loop a bed track, and a timestamped play log can be exported as CSV for music-licensing reports. It is for people who run live shows or event audio and want a local playout tool.
Requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later. The app is not notarized, so right-click Segue.app and choose Open the first time. The author says it was written with Claude Code, is presented as-is, and that they may not be able to fix bugs beyond what they can describe to the AI. Network drives are used through Finder mounts; Segue does not prompt you to connect one at startup.
