About SpawnSweep
SpawnSweep finds what AI coding agents leave running or lying around: dev servers, ports held by old processes, simulators, Docker stacks and git worktrees. Its ports board lists every localhost listener with its project, git branch and the agent session that started it, and can free a port in one click. It is for developers who run tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini or Aider and want to tidy up after them. It is not a general Mac cleaner or an uninstaller.
Requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon. The app is not notarized, so macOS blocks the first launch until you choose Open Anyway under System Settings › Privacy & Security. The core features are free. SpawnSweep Pro is a one-time $9 purchase for up to three Macs and adds the junk cleaner, large and old file cleanup, and autopilot rules. The only network call checks a Pro license key about once a week, and the project says there is no telemetry.
