About swiftGuard
swiftGuard watches the USB ports of a Mac. When an unknown device connects, or a connected device is unplugged, it shuts the Mac down or hibernates it after a countdown you set. You can whitelist devices, and you can defuse the alarm from the menu before the countdown ends. It is aimed at people who leave a Mac unattended in public places or want to prevent data being copied over USB.
The latest release is 0.0.2. It is distributed as one DMG for Apple silicon and one for Intel. The README says the app is not code-signed, so open it with right-click Open or choose Open Anyway under System Settings > Privacy & Security. The roadmap lists native Apple silicon support and code signing as planned work. The app connects to the internet only to check for updates at startup.
