About viewio
viewio records a display or a single window and then edits the take. The editor adds automatic zoom around clicks, a redrawn cursor with click effects, motion blur on cursor and zoom moves, and a camera picture-in-picture overlay. Backgrounds, trimming and speed changes are available before export. It suits people who make product demos or tutorials and want polished results without a separate editor.
It needs macOS 26 or later, the deployment target the project uses, and runs on Apple silicon only; the release disk image is arm64. The disk image is signed and notarized. Recording needs Screen Recording permission, and the optional microphone and camera need their own permissions. Hiding the cursor while typing needs Input Monitoring and is only in the direct build. The project's website did not resolve when checked, so the repository is linked.
