Free, open-source alternatives to DaisyDisk
A disk space analyzer that maps a drive as an interactive ring chart so you can find large files and folders and remove them.
DaisyDisk scans a disk and draws its contents as an interactive map of nested rings, so the folders and files using the most space stand out. You can drill into folders, preview items and collect the ones you want to delete.
The open-source apps below take the same visual approach to disk usage. OpenDisk draws a sunburst chart much like DaisyDisk's rings, SquirrelDisk and Neodisk offer sunburst and treemap views, MacDirStat uses a WinDirStat-style treemap, and MangoDisk adds its maps to a wider cleanup toolkit. Some delete from inside the app, while MacDirStat and Neodisk leave removal to Finder.
