Core-Monitor
Monitor CPU, GPU, memory, temperatures and power, and set custom fan curves on Apple silicon Macs.GetGPL-3.0
A fan utility that shows Mac temperature sensors and fan speeds and lets you set fixed or temperature-based fan speeds.
Macs Fan Control lists the temperature sensors and fans in a Mac and lets you override the automatic fan behaviour, either with a constant speed or with a speed that follows a chosen sensor.
The open-source apps below do the same: they read temperatures and fan speeds and let you set your own fan behaviour, then hand control back to macOS when you stop. FanBar is a focused menu bar fan controller with presets built on editable temperature curves. Core-Monitor wraps fan curves into a broader system monitor and supports Apple silicon only.
