About Artify
Artify sets 18th-century paintings from WikiArt as your desktop wallpaper. It builds each wallpaper for your screen size by placing the painting over a blurred, scaled copy of itself, can fetch a new picture each day or pick one at random, and has an About this Art window with the painting's history and artist. It suits people who want art rather than photos on the desktop.
The README gives macOS 10.11 or later as the minimum version and says the project is free and open source. It says the app needs Artify Core, a separate Go backend project. The newest release, 1.0, dates from October 2018 and the newest commit from March 2019, so treat this as a historical release.
