About Clear Menu Bar
Clear Menu Bar makes the menu bar look transparent by adjusting the wallpaper that sits under it. It handles one JPG or PNG wallpaper. With Reduce Transparency turned on, it can also use several images from a folder, in light and dark mode. It suits people who want a clean desktop and use a static image as the wallpaper.
It runs on Apple silicon and Intel. The README says it needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and the app bundle declares 13.0 as its minimum. The README also says Reduce Transparency must be enabled under Accessibility for the app to work as expected, that the wallpaper must be set to Fill Screen, and that dynamic, aerial and motion wallpapers are not supported. The DMG is not notarized, so the first launch has to be allowed in System Settings.
