About Jitsi Meet
Jitsi Meet is an open-source video conferencing system, and this app wraps its web client in a dedicated desktop window. You join or start a meeting by room name, share your screen, and let another participant control your mouse and keyboard when you allow it. An always-on-top mini window keeps the call visible while you work in other apps.
The app works with the public meet.jit.si service or any self-hosted Jitsi Meet deployment, which you set in its settings. Links such as jitsi-meet://myroom open a room directly, and end-to-end encryption is available as a beta feature. Updates install automatically.
