About orcv
orcv creates virtual displays that macOS treats as real screens, arranges them on an infinite canvas you can pan and zoom, and shows them in a picture-in-picture overlay. You can save viewpoints, jump to the next or previous desktop, and teleport a window or your mouse onto a desktop by hovering over it and pressing a shortcut. It is for people who keep several long-running tasks in separate desktops and want to switch between them quickly.
The README does not state a minimum macOS version or whether the builds are notarized. On first launch the app asks for Screen Recording and Accessibility permission, which it needs to watch the virtual displays and move the pointer. The author notes that opening and closing many desktops causes a hitch of about half a second.
