About Scroll Wheel Mission Control
Scroll Wheel Mission Control lets an ordinary mouse do what trackpad swipes do on a Mac. Holding the scroll wheel and dragging left or right moves one desktop, dragging up opens Mission Control, and dragging down opens App Exposé. A plain click still works as a middle click. Per-app rules turn the gestures off in tools such as Blender that use middle-drag. It suits people with a non-Apple mouse who switch desktops often.
It requires macOS 13 or later and is a universal build that runs on Apple silicon and Intel. The DMG is not notarized, so the first launch needs right-click and Open, or Open Anyway in Privacy & Security. The app needs Accessibility permission. Its only network request is an optional update check, which is off by default.
