About Tapestry
Tapestry is a menu bar app that turns trackpad gestures into actions. A tap, hold or straight or diagonal swipe made with three, four or five fingers can press a key or shortcut, run a Shortcuts shortcut, or open an app or link. It suits people who want quick trackpad triggers, for example holding Option for push-to-talk dictation. Tapestry only listens to the trackpad, so macOS may also act on the same gesture unless you turn off the matching system gesture.
It requires macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon, and the Accessibility permission to press keys. The DMG is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. It reads touches through Apple's private MultitouchSupport framework, which the README says could break in a future macOS update.
