Microsoft Paint for Mac
The simple drawing and image editing app that comes with Windows, for quick sketches, shapes, text and basic edits. It has no macOS version.
Microsoft Paint is the drawing app that ships with Windows, used for quick sketches, shapes, text, cropping and simple edits to images and screenshots. Microsoft distributes it for Windows only.
ItsPaint is the most direct take on Microsoft Paint for Mac, a small Paint-style canvas that also numbers steps and blurs or pixelates parts of screenshots. Seashore suits people who outgrow that, with layers and photo adjustments in a still straightforward native app, and Pinta offers a similar step up with a layout modelled on Paint.NET. For quick markup alone, the Preview app included with macOS can already draw shapes and text on images.
