About FinderRight
FinderRight adds commands to the Finder right-click menu. You can create files from text and Office templates, open a terminal or editor in the current folder, copy paths and names, move or copy items to frequently used folders, and cut and paste files. It also adds Quick Look previews for folders, archives and Markdown. It suits people who manage many files in Finder and want these commands without leaving it.
The DMG requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon; the README says Intel Macs are not supported. The build is self-signed and not notarized, so allow the first launch in Privacy & Security. Cloud drives and folders such as /Applications do not show the custom menu, so use the Services submenu there. The first-run guide asks for the Finder extension, Full Disk Access and Accessibility permissions.
