About Pixtamer
Pixtamer prepares batches of images for the web. It converts between JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF, compresses, resizes to several widths, renames files and saves reusable presets. It shows real before and after sizes for each export. It suits web developers, bloggers and designers who handle many files, and it runs entirely on the Mac, with no account, upload or network access.
Pixtamer requires macOS 14 or later. The author built it with Xcode 27 on macOS 27 and has not yet verified it on macOS 14 or 15, with VoiceOver, or with very large batches. AVIF output depends on the macOS version. Releases are signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so the first launch needs no workaround.
