About ILoveNotch
ILoveNotch uses the camera notch on Apple silicon MacBooks as a small tray. It shows what is playing and per-app volume, holds files you drop on it, lists your calendar and reminders, and includes notes, timers, network speed and a view of your AI plan usage. It also tells you when Claude Code or Codex needs approval. It is for people who want these everyday things in the notch without a paid license. The README says the code is original and clean-room, not taken from commercial notch apps.
It needs macOS 14.6 or later. Only one notch app can use the notch at a time, so quit other notch apps first. Calendar and Reminders ask for access the first time you open those tabs. The README says the Mac App Store version is still in review and lacks AI Usage, Agents, the Sound tab and Android sharing; a TestFlight beta is linked from the README.
