Metrune is a notch-area workspace for Apple silicon Macs. From the top centre of the screen it combines a task-based focus timer, Codex activity, GitHub contributions, system media controls, short power and Bluetooth connection animations, a local profile with levels and badges, and weekly or monthly reports that can be exported as images. It suits people who want focus sessions and activity tracking in one place without a cloud account.
It needs macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon; Intel Macs and Windows are not supported. The 0.1.0 community build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized, so macOS may require opening it with right-click and Open. Core data stays on the Mac, and optional features ask for permissions only when they are enabled. Diagnostics are not uploaded automatically. The release is an early community version.
