About Swivel
Swivel adds a radial menu for files on the Mac. Start dragging files in Finder or on the desktop, tap Shift, Command or Control, and drop on a slice to convert, crop, compress, remove metadata, recognize text or combine images into a PDF. It also provides Shortcuts actions and a command-line tool built on the same engine. It suits people who regularly reshape images and documents and want no upload step.
It requires Apple silicon and macOS 13 Ventura or later; the README says it is tested on macOS 26. The build is signed and notarized by Apple. It is free and open source under MIT, with no account, no in-app purchase and no network code, and it never checks for updates. It only writes formats that macOS can encode itself, so it does not bundle libwebp, LAME or ffmpeg.
