About ScreenCat
ScreenCat shares your desktop with another person and lets them move the mouse and type on your Mac. The remote side can join from a normal browser page, where Google Chrome is recommended, or from another ScreenCat app. It is a hobby project for developers who want a hackable screen-sharing tool, and the README says it does not yet match commercial alternatives.
The README marks ScreenCat as ALPHA, says it works best between Macs, and warns that builds may not exist for every platform. The latest release, 4.2.0, is labelled beta and dates from November 2015, and the repository was last pushed in February 2016. Anyone with an invite code can control the host, so only share codes with people you trust.
